No. They can join and collaborate without buying Unlimited Projects. Projects shared with them don’t count towards their one free owned project. The owner decides whether they can view or edit. Everyone needs KanbanDo, an Apple Account and iCloud; app capacity and Apple sharing limits apply.
Unlimited Projects removes the one-project free allowance so you can create, copy and import more projects. It’s a one-time, non-consumable purchase—not a subscription or a per-person fee. The planned App Store price is US$4.99; Apple shows your local price and any applicable taxes before you buy.
Yes. KanbanDo is made for iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 17 or later, and Mac running macOS 14 or later. Use iCloud projects to sync between devices. Restore the Unlimited Projects purchase using the same Apple Account; you don’t need to buy it for each device. Some features depend on your operating-system version.
The upgrade removes the free-tier project allowance, not the app’s technical capacity limits. The current app supports up to 100 projects, 1,000 tasks and 100 project memberships in total. The same person in two projects uses two memberships.
Images are limited to 20 per task, 200 per project and 100 MB of stored attachments across the app. Apple’s iCloud storage and sharing limits also apply. These limits apply to both tiers.
Open our public TestFlight invitation on your Apple device. Install Apple’s TestFlight app if needed, then follow the invitation to install KanbanDo. Available builds and device requirements are shown in TestFlight.
Testing is free. In-app purchases in TestFlight are free simulations and do not carry over to the App Store version. Each beta build can be used for up to 90 days from upload, so keep TestFlight updated. Beta software can have bugs; keep backups of important projects. Read Apple’s TestFlight guide.
No. Choose “This device only” to keep a project locally without an iCloud account. Choose iCloud to sync and collaborate. In an iCloud project, individual images can stay device-only if you prefer.
In Settings, use “Export complete backup” to save your projects, Inbox and task images somewhere safe. Sync is not an independent backup. You can import projects as copies or restore from a backup.
